How does media:connect work?
media:connect provides functional capabilities as described by the
following DLNA defined device classes: a mobile digital media
player (M-DMP), a mobile digital media server (M-DMS), a mobile
digital media controller (M-DMC), and a mobile digital media
downloader (M-DMD). A very good overview of how DLNA/UPnP

I am being asked to purchase advanced:edition again. How
do I restore my previous purchase?
Run media:connect. Select the "Settings" tab, then
"Advanced"->"Restore In-App Purchases"->Restore.
I am getting an error when trying to purchase
advanced:edition. How can I buy advanced:edition?
This has to do with a jailbroken iPhone with AppSync installed. You
will see the message "This is not a Test User account. Please
create an account in the Sandbox environment. [Environment:
Sandbox]" when this problem occurs. Follow these steps to resolve
the issue:
- Uninstall AppSync.
- Uninstall media:connect.
- Reboot iPhone.
- Reinstall media:connect from the App Store.
NOTE: since you have already purchased the standard:edition of media:connect, when you click "Buy" in the App Store, you will be prompted with a message that you have already purchased the application, and asked if you want to re-install.
